NYFW - Day 2
Gosh, sorry for the delay guys...these past three days we're swallowed up with (12) hour very [amazing] days in the studio with some of Colorado's best dancers! :) More on that to come.
Anyway.....flashback to last week Day 2 at NYFW was absolutely magical...guys we we're on our way to our second show of the day and decided to pop over to the Moynihan Station to see about getting into another show, it was a long shot but we thought we would try. Moments after we arrive to the front doors we here a sudden influx of voices and movement in the people around us...camera's went up (we're wondering whats going on) and all of a sudden Sophia says...."thats Anna Wintour." Anna is the Editor in chief of 'VOGUE' magazine heading in to see the 5 o'clock Marchesa show.
Ummm what? lol! #speechless
Does it get much better? The answer is yes..... we turned around took a couple steps forward and literally walked into Coco Rocha (also attending the Marchesa show).
For those of you that might not be familiar, Coco is an international model (from Richmond, BC ;). She's famous for her movement and the piercing energy behind the shapes she creates.
As I've researched and learned more about the art of fashion, I've come to understand more and more just how unique and simply breathtaking she is. This experience was definitely the highlight of the week for me. I'm still, 5 days later, still in awe of the magic of this moment.
The week was crazy, short, and jam packed but was truly amazing and I can't wait for next year! :)
On the blog tomorrow, I'll be sharing about my afternoon at Bite Lip Lab, an all natural lipstick heaven where you get to work with a specialist to customize your color AND shine. It was super fun! Can't wait to share!
